Freedom Healthnet was established in 2003 and offers two main types of policy to its customers:
• A hybrid cash plan that offers cover for operations and treatment that involve a hospital stay as well as an amount of money that can be used to pay for outpatient care. Any money left over after the cash payout has been used to settle medical bills can be kept by the policyholder
• Comprehensive health insurance that covers a wide variety of costs including inpatient treatment at your chosen hospital, fees charged by consultants and anaesthetists, physiotherapy, oral surgery, treatment for cancer and much more
There are various optional extras that can be added to each plan, enabling clients to customise them to meet their specific requirements.
Freedom Healthnet, in common with all reputable health insurance providers, is regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom and their policies are underwritten by Guardian Life. As they are willing to make cash payments to clients’ bank accounts prior to treatment taking place, policyholders are able to choose where they would like to be treated, whether in their own country or abroad.
